A continuous line of round diamonds set in an 18K gold bracelet. Compare lab-grown and natural diamond tennis bracelets by total carat weight.
Both are diamonds with the same crystal structure and optical properties. Their origin differs: lab-grown diamonds are created in a controlled laboratory, while natural diamonds form in the earth.
Total carat weight is the combined weight of all diamonds in the piece. For stud earrings it normally refers to both earrings together; for a tennis bracelet it is the sum of all stones.
The choice is visual. Yellow gold gives warmth and contrast, white gold creates a cooler continuous look, and rose gold adds a softer blush warmth around the diamonds.
Compare carat weight together with dimensions and how the piece looks when worn. O’HARA presents the main sizes clearly so the choice does not depend on grading terminology alone.
